• Review of necessary Regulations and Standards of Practice as per RCDSO pertaining to Sedation and Anesthesia in your office setting

• Review of the College of Nurses of Ontario Regulations and Standards of Practice. Making sense and drawing connections within the field of Dental Anesthesia

• Moderate Sedation vs Deep Sedation vs General Anesthesia 

• Pre-operative Assessment, Intra-operative Assessment and Post-operative Assessment (Following RCDSO regulations and CNO Standards of Practice)

• Accurate Documentation of Anesthesia Record (As per the requirements of both the RCDSO and CNO) using your office’s own Anesthesia Record

• Basic Airway Management and Intervention (for moderate and deep sedation offices)

• Common Dental Office Emergency Algorithms

• Basic Oral Anatomy and Review of Teeth Numbers 

• Using your office’s own materials, we will design a custom program to teach Nurses and Dental Assistants how to use your protocols, Anesthesia record, pre-operative and postoperative instructions, as well as anesthesia and common drugs.
